Celebration of Everyday Objects!
Poster Project!
So we are starting a new project and I'm excited about this one. Everyone in the class was given an everyday object and our aim is to celebrate that object and everything about it. My object is a plastic knife and fork. I have to come up with lots of ideas relating to this objects and finish up with a poster celebrating the plastic knife and fork.
First I did a brainstorm and put down everything I could think of that related to the plastic knife and fork: its advantages, disadvantages, uses etc.

After I looked up the history of the plastic knife and fork and found out things like when it was invented, where and by who was it invented.
Finished
After a long week of trying to get materials and assembling my piece my letter-form is finally finished. Unfortunately I have no photographs of my piece on its own but here is a photo of the complete alphabet of letterforms created by our first year Graphic Design class. It looks very impressive when everyone's pieces are together.
This is my Letterform hanging. The wire blends into the surroundings in the background so you cant see it perfectly in this photo but you can get the general idea of how it looks.
These are the exhibited pieces on display in college.
